On the first Saturday in June, join us to celebrate FOR FREE USRowing's National Learn to Row Day! The day's activities will include opportunities to:

• Tour our Boathouse
• Learn to properly use an erg (ergometer, indoor rowing machine)
• View a rowing shell
• Learn the parts of a boat and safety terminology

And...  Experience rowing on the Potomac River.  Assuming the weather cooperates, you may have the opportunity to get in a boat (along with a few experienced rowers and a coxswain). In addition to weather considerations, participation in this activity may be limited by the availability of sufficient equipment and personnel, so first come, first served.

No need to sign up, just come on down to the boathouse, it's Free! All ages are welcome; however, use of equipment and the on-water experience will be limited to those 12 years of age and older (and, yes, people row well into their 80s and beyond).
