New to rowing? 

Thompson Boat Center, RCR's practice location, offers learn-to-row programs for sweep and sculling, as well as intermediate sweep rowing.  TBC's Learn-to-row sweep classes are two weeks, Monday-Friday, with morning and evening session options, and usually run from May through August. Other area clubs offering learn-to-row classes include Capital Rowing Club, DC Strokes and Alexandria Community Rowing. 

Novice or intermediate rowers interested in joining RCR's competitive masters program may want to consider joining our Winter Training program as a first step.
